Michigan player feels 'bad for the terrorists' Air Force players could encounter
No. 7 Michigan was tested in a big way at home against Air Force this week, which says as much about the Wolverines’ offense as it does about the Falcons.
Michigan’s lead was just 19-13 entering the fourth quarter until the Wolverines sealed the game with a late touchdown in an eventual 29-13 victory.

Still, Michigan’s players walked off the field with nothing but respect for their opponent. Just look at what Wolverines defensive end Chase Winovich had to say after the win:

This is a reminder of just how impressive the kids at the U.S. service academies are, a fantastic way to compliment your opponents and one of the best quotes we’ll get this season.
With that in mind, let’s recognize a few of the Falcons’ standouts from their trip to The Big House.
Junior quarterback Arion Worthman completed just one of seven passes on Saturday, but that single completion was a 64-yard touchdown. Other things completed in Worthman’s college career include the Air Force’s survival training and soaring program.
Senior running back Tim McVey rushed for 62 yards on 11 carries. He’s also finished the power flight program at the Air Force Academy.
Falcons senior kicker Luke Strebel, who made two of three field goals against Michigan, is majoring in systems engineering and happens to be the second in his family to attend the United States Air Force Academy.
Will each one of these players go on to fight terrorists? Not necessarily, though that doesn’t make their devotion to their country and their service academy any less impressive. And if the way the Falcons took on Michigan is any indication, it’s hard to argue with Winovich’s assessment.
