Michigan State's Matt McQuaid banks in insane buzzer-beating 3-pointer (Video)

Michigan State made just eight field goals, and scored just 25 points in the first half of its second round game against Syracuse. One of those field goals, and three of those points, however, came via the most improbable buzzer-beater of the NCAA tournament so far.

It came after Matt McQuaid had a 3-pointer blocked with less than two seconds left. But McQuaid, thinking quick, leapt right back up to grab the ball and, while still in mid-air, launched it toward the rim.

Incredibly, it banked off glass and in:

Sparty missed loads of wide open shots in the first half. So of course it hit that one, and leads by three at halftime, 25-22.

McQuaid is a 40.5 percent 3-point shooter, but those were his only three points of the half.
