Michigan State football signs New Jersey OL Geno VanDeMark

Mel Tucker landed one of his two highly recruited players from New Jersey.

Geno VanDeMark, a three-star offensive lineman from St. Joseph Regional High in Montvale, New Jersey, signed his letter of intent Friday to Michigan State football.

VanDeMark is the 18th player to sign with the Spartans during the early period, which ends Friday. The 6-foot-5, 295-pound offensive guard is rated the No. 434 prospect overall and No. 21 nationally at his position according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

MSU signed three other offensive linemen Wednesday in guard Kevin Wigenton II from New Jersey and tackles Ethan Boyd from East Lansing and Brandon Baldwin from Independence (Kansas) Community College.
