Four-Star Tight End Luke Ford Still Receiving A Lot Of Attention From Michigan

Carterville (Ill.) High four-star tight end Luke Ford is the No. 1 tight end and No. 72 overall prospect nationally and he's a priority for the Wolverines as evidenced by a recent graphic he tweeted out.

The 6-7, 247-pounder has been to Michigan and will likely return at some point this fall, perhaps for an official visit, but has not scheduled anything yet. He's a one-time Arkansas commit but feels like Alabama's to lose. Michigan is one school he's paying very close attention to and Ford says he's still high on the Wolverines. He's a young man of few words but said, "I like them a lot," when asked how he's feeling about U-M these days.

Southfield (Mich.) High 2019 safety Marcus Fuqua has started to stack up some decent offers from the likes of Ball State, Buffalo, Kent State, Syracuse, Temple and Toledo along with a few others. The 6-1, 190-pounder is on Michigan's radar and will be in The Big House this weekend for U-M's home opener. The versatile safety prospect is excited to be in attendance.

"My coach set up the visit for me," Fuqua said. "[The Michigan coaches] wanted to get me on campus to see me in person."

Fuqua is built similarly to Detroit Martin Luther King four-star safety Marvin Grant who appears to be U-M's top in-state target at the position. It'll be interesting to see if anything develops between Fuqua and Michigan after Saturday's visit.
