“The Game” is back this fall.

And the kickoff time will remain unchanged.

It will be a return to recent tradition for both programs, who have usually played on the Saturday after Thanksgiving starting at noon.

The two teams did not meet in 2020, as Michigan was forced to cancel the final two games of the season due to COVID-19 issues within the program. The programs had played for 102 consecutive seasons, dating back to 1918. The Wolverines finished 2-4 last season in the abbreviated season, prompting significant staff changes during the offseason.

The Buckeyes made the national championship game, losing to Alabama, 52-24.
