Michael Penix headlines College Sports Wire’s top Pac-12 performers for Week 3

USC had the week off in college football, so the Washington Huskies were happy to take the spotlight in the Pac-12, even if their game against Michigan State was on Peacock.

Washington definitely strutted like a peacock in demolishing Michigan State. Michael Penix led the Huskies to an easy win in East Lansing, earning recognition as one of College Sports Wire’s top Pac-12 performers of the week for Week 3.

“It was another strong weekend for the Pac-12 in week three,” Dylan Callaghan-Croley wrote. “With no conference matchups this past weekend, the conference saw its programs go 9-2. The lone losses of the weekend came from Arizona State and Stanford.

“Notable wins over the weekend included Washington dominating Michigan State 41-7 on the road in East Lansing and Colorado erasing a fourth-quarter deficit to defeat rival Colorado State 43-35.”

See where Washington stacks up against the rest of the Pac-12 in our Week 3 rankings of the conference.
