Oscar-winning filmmaker Michael Moore stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, where he revealed the title and release date for his new documentary focused on President Donald Trump.

Host Stephen Colbert kicked off the interview stating, "It is a great time to be an American because we're the ones who are responsible for this and we've got to do something," to which Moore responded, "And we are going to do something, and now it's time. We have to sort of prove our metal here. Look, we're in deep, deep trouble here." Moore then shared with Colbert that he is currently finishing his new film, which will be released September 21 and is called Fahrenheit 11/9. The date being the night Trump was announced as President of the United States.

Moore, who directed the 2004 documentary Fahrenheit 9/11, explained that his new documentary will be about "how the hell we got in this situation and how we're going to get out of it." And while the director couldn't reveal any further details, he did bring a clip and ensured that we will see things in the documentary that we have never seen before.

The almost 30-second clip which Moore shared Thursday night showed footage of the director pulling up to Trump's National Golf Club, Mar-a-Lago, stating, "We're just in the area shooting my next film. Thought I would check out the Southern White House. Secret Service sent me down here. I want to go up and talk to Donald Trump. Can I ask, just tell him it's me."

Moore told Colbert that he did manage to get into Trump's National Golf Club, Mar-a-Lago. In fact, he was inside for a total of 11 and a half minutes, which, of course, made Colbert very curious. "Did they forcibly toss you out?" Colbert asked Moore, who said, "No, they're not able to do that with me." Colbert then asked Moore if he was "civil" while inside, and Moore simply stated, "I am as civil as any Eagle Scout, Catholic altar boy could be when confronted with the devil."
