SEE IT: The moment Chase Young became a fan of Taylor Heinicke originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

Following Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers, Chase Young was asked what he thought about quarterback Taylor Heinicke, who made his debut for Washington after taking over for Dwayne Haskins.

Short and sweet, it was a ringing endorsement.

"I love Taylor," Young said.

What sold him on one of his newest teammates? It stemmed from a conversation the two had when Heinicke entered the game. Young detailed that he went out to share some words of encouragement and the quarterback's response showed Young that the passer wasn't messing around.

Now, thanks to NFL Films, one can see and hear the interaction word-for-word. It's even cooler than when Young gave his synopsis of it.

After practicing the pronunciation of Heinicke's name a little, Young went out and told the quarterback, "You ballin', keep goin'," to which Heinicke replied, "That's what I do."

Back on the sidelines, Young told the story to his teammates, letting them know that the message from Heinicke proved to him that he has plenty of swag to his game.

"I love it, ooo," Young said. "I like him, I like him."

It's clear that Heinicke has a fan in Young, and the confidence from the quarterback is a positive given that there's a chance his name could be called upon to start in a crucial game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 17.

As for Young, the moment is yet another example of his infectious energy and support for his teammates that led to him being named a team captain prior to the Week 16 game.
