Micah Parsons sat courtside for Sixers’ playoff victory over Celtics

Former Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons may be a rival of the Philadelphia Eagles, but he showed up to Philadelphia on Sunday to sit courtside for the Philadelphia 76ers’ playoff matchup with the Boston Celtics. And he sported a Sixers jersey to cheer on the home team.

Parsons was sporting a Tyrese Maxey uniform for the game, showing support for one of the Sixers’ young stars. Odds are he heard a few heckles from the local sports fans, but Parsons surely seemed to enjoy himself at the game, which the Sixers won in exhilarating fashion despite blowing a 15-point lead to even the second-round series at two games apiece as the series ships back up to Boston for Game 5.

The ESPN cameras scanned the crowd for some celebrities attending the game, including Lil Baby and Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver, and former Heisman Trophy winner, DeVonta Smith. Of course, when the camera caught Parsons, he was feasting on some delicious wings. It looked like he polished a full plate of them!

Of course, once Parsons realized the cameras caught him chowing down on the wings, he took to Twitter to express his disbelief over being caught in the act.

At least Parsons got to see his team win a home playoff game, for once.
