The Miami Marlins will play two exhibition games vs. the Braves. Here are the details.

The Miami Marlins’ shortened, 60-game regular season starts July 24 against the Philadelphia Phillies.

But before that, they’ll play two exhibition games against another National League East rival in the Atlanta Braves.

The teams announced Friday that the Marlins and Braves will play on July 21 and 22 at Truist Park in Atlanta as a final tune-up before the regular season begins. The July 21 game is slated for a 7:10 p.m. first pitch. The July 22 game is set to start at 4:10 p.m. Both games will be televised on Fox Sports Florida.

Marlins play-by-play announcer Paul Severino and color analyst Todd Hollandsworth will call the games remotely from Marlins Park, just like they will for road games during the 2020 season.

These two games serve as the only opportunity for either team to get into live game situations against another team prior to the season. The rest of the three-week summer camp session solely consists on intrasquad games and practices.

The Marlins began scrimmaging Thursday and will be doing so for the majority of the next 10 days before the two exhibition games and the eventual start of the 2020 season.
