New York has dropped four of its last five games, all at home, and now has a 32-32 record at Citi Field this season. The Mets are 28-41 on the road.
Despite their record, the Amazins' have hit 170 home runs -- fourth-most in the National League this year. They hit 171 dingers in 2022.
DJ Stewart is back in the lineup after a night off against the left-hander on Tuesday. He's batting sixth and playing right field. In 35 games this season, Stewart has seven home runs, five doubles and is slashing .268/.351/.585.
After two more hits last night, Jeff McNeil has now hit safely in 20 of his last 24 games, batting .330 during that stretch.

Who is starting for the Mets?
Denyi Reyes, who is 0-2 in seven games (two starts) this season with a 7.50 ERA (1.92 WHIP) to go along with 12 strikeouts in 12.1 innings pitched.
The right-hander last pitched on Aug. 12 against the Atlanta Braves and went a career-high 4.2 innings, but allowed five earned runs on eight hits, four walks and a hit-by-pitch while striking out four on 109 pitches (66 strikes).
Before that, the 26-year-old made his first start of the season, also against the Braves, on May 1 which didn't go well either. In one inning of work, Reyes allowed five earned runs on five hits, including two home runs.
In five appearances out of the bullpen in April, Reyes didn't allow a run in 6.1 innings, giving up three hits, two walks and striking out seven.
Who is starting for the Rangers?
Dane Dunning, who is 9-6 in 28 games (20 starts) this season with a 3.36 ERA (1.21 WHIP) to go along with 107 strikeouts in 136.2 innings pitched.
The 28-year-old struggled his last time out against the Minnesota Twins on Aug. 25 where he allowed four earned runs on five hits and a career-high six walks through four innings. He also hit a batter and struck out six while taking the loss.
Dunning hasn't recorded a win since Aug. 2 and in eight starts since the All-Star break, the righty is 1-4 with a 4.43 ERA after going 8-2 with a 2.84 ERA in 20 games (12 starts) before the break.

The Mets have an off-day on Thursday before welcoming Julio Rodriguez and the Seattle Mariners for a three-game series over the weekend starting on Friday, Sept. 1 at 7:10 p.m.
