In the wake of dozens of teams being removed as minor league affiliates, which resulted in a reshuffling, the updated minor league teams and leagues for the 2021 season were officially announced on Friday.

For the Mets, their four minor league affiliates are:

Triple-A: Syracuse Mets, Northeast

Double-A: Binghamton Rumble Ponies, Northeast

High-A: Brooklyn Cyclones, North

Low-A: St. Lucie Mets, East

The main changes for the Mets are the Cyclones going from being their short-season A-ball affiliate to full-season High-A, and St. Lucie going from full-season High-A to Low-A.

The Mets' Low-A affiliate last season was the Columbia Fireflies.
