One of the Mets top prospects, Brett Baty, has been named to the Arizona Fall League's "Fall Stars Game," the league announced on Wednesday.

Playing for the Salt River Rafters -- which incorporates the Milwaukee Brewers, Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies and Detroit Tigers along with the Mets -- Baty has slashed .250/.350/.382 with a homer, four doubles, one triple and 10 walks with a .732 OPS in 19 games.

Baty has proven to have some pop in his bat early in his professional career, especially after what he was able to produce in 2021. The left-handed hitter slashed .292/.382/.473 with 12 homers, 22 doubles and a triple with 56 RBI between High-A Brooklyn and Double-A Binghamton (91 games).

New York expects big things from the third baseman (if he stays at that position that is), especially with his prowess at the dish.

This recognition from the AFL, however, is just another accomplishment Baty can smile at as he works his way to the bigs.

The Fall Stars Game will be broadcast live on MLB Network on Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. EST.
