Mets sign pitchers Zach Muckenhirn and Denyi Reyes to minor league deals

The Mets have signed pitchers Zach Muckenhirn and Denyi Reyes to minor league contracts with an invitation to major league spring training. 

Muckenhirn, 27, pitched in 47 games with Triple-A Charlotte in the Chicago White Sox organization last season, posting a 3.11 ERA.

In six minor league seasons, he has a 3.82 ERA.

Reyes, 26, made his major league debut with the Baltimore Orioles in 2022, posting a 2.35 ERA in 7.2 innings over three games.

In seven minor league seasons, Reyes has a 3.29 ERA.
