Mets 3B/OF prospect Brett Baty was a top performer Saturday in the Arizona Fall League (AFL) Fall Stars Game.

Batting second and playing third base for AFL East, Baty went 1 for 3 with a double and two runs scored, fueling a 6-5 win over AFL West at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale, Ariz.

With East holding a 5-2 lead in the bottom of the fifth inning, Baty clubbed a hanging 2-2 breaking ball into the left-center gap and bouncing off the wall for a stand-up double.

Two batters later, Baty scored on a line-drive single to right by Miami Marlins OF prospect JJ Bleday, padding AFL East's 6-2 advantage.

Baty grounded into a first-inning, 4-6 fielder's choice. Bleday -- once again, two batters later -- brought Baty home on a two-run shot to center that tied the score at 2-2. In the second inning, Baty sharply grounded into a 4-3 putout.

Baty, whose 22nd birthday was Saturday, slashed .276/.371/.395 with one home run and nine RBI over 21 games in the Arizona Fall League as a member of Salt River. For High-A Brooklyn through 51 games in 2021, Baty slashed .309/.397/.514 with seven home runs and 34 RBI.
