Mets prospect Brett Baty has been named the Player of the Week in the Arizona Fall League.

Baty leads the league in average (.500) and OPS (1.417) through the first week of play.

He has two doubles, one triple, and three RBI.

Baty, who was recently ranked as the No. 52 prospect on Baseball America's updated Top 100 list and is SNY's No. 2 Mets prospect, was great this season for High-A Brooklyn and Double-A Binghamton.

In 91 games for Brooklyn and Binghamton this season, Baty hit .292/.382/.473 with 12 homers and 22 doubles.

He played primarily third base, but also got some time in left field, during what was his first taste of the outfield as a professional.

Baty will either open the 2022 season back with Binghamton or be pushed to Triple-A Syracuse to start the year.

Either way, he could potentially make his Mets debut at some point next season.
