The New York Mets officially have a new owner, and it looks like this owner is gutting the house down to the studs.
The Mets’ sale to Steve Cohen was closed and became official on Friday, shortly after everyone in the front office was out the door.

Cohen announced Sandy Alderson would return as the president of baseball operations, having been the Mets’ general manager from 2010 to 2018.
