Mets Opening Day 26-man roster announced

The Mets Opening Day 26-man roster has been officially announced by the team on Thursday.

First, a few players were placed on the IL, including Carlos Carrasco. He hits the 10-day IL, retroactive March 29 with a grade 1 right hamstring strain. Here's who else landed on the IL:

- RHP Seth Lugo: 10-day IL with right elbow surgery (retroactive March 29)
- INF Jose Martinez: 60-day IL with torn meniscus in left knee
- RHP Drew Smith: 10-day IL with right shoulder soreness (retroactive March 29)
- RHP Noah Syndergaard: Previously placed on 60-day IL
