KAYLEIGH MCENANY: And with that, I'll take questions. [INAUDIBLE].

- I have a couple questions. First on Secretary Esper. CBS News has learned that his remarks this morning were not received well here inside the White House. Had the Secretary ever expressed his views about active duty forces to President Trump before this morning in private? And does the president still have confidence in Secretary Esper?

KAYLEIGH MCENANY: So, not that I'm aware of in terms of expressing his opinion and I wouldn't get into the private conversations that went on here in the White House. And with regard to whether the President has confidence, I would say, if he loses confidence in Secretary Esper, I'm sure you all will be the first to know.

- But as of right now, he still does?

KAYLEIGH MCENANY: As of right now, Secretary Esper is still Secretary Esper. And should the president lose faith, we will all learn about that some in the future.

- Thank you.
