Lakers in talks to acquire Michael Beasley

The Los Angeles Lakers are trying to complete a three-team trade with the Portland Trail Blazers and Minnesota Timberwolves that would send Michael Beasley to L.A. before Thursday's 3 p.m. ET deadline, a league source told Yahoo! Sports.

The Lakers would add Beasley to help fill the void created by the trade of versatile forward Lamar Odom before the season. Blazers guard Jamal Crawford would go to the T'wolves while Portland would receive Lakers guard Steve Blake. The Blazers also could receive a draft pick in the trade, a league source said.

If the Lakers trade Blake, they could try to acquire Cleveland Cavaliers guard Ramon Sessions in another possible deal.
