Mayor Lucas places bet with Buffalo mayor for Chiefs-Bills Divisional game

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — There is a lot of hype surrounding the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills Divisional Round clash on Sunday.

The game has even led to the mayors of both cities placing a friendly wager on the playoff matchup.

Toney out, 2 defensive players questionable for Chiefs in AFC Divisional

Kansas City mayor Quinton Lucas got the fun started by offering Buffalo mayor Byron Brown some signature Kansas City Bar-B-Que from County Road Ice House by Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que.

Brown accepted the bet, offering up buffalo wings from Deco Lounge in Buffalo.

Lucas often bets on the Chiefs.

Last year, he bet Cincinnati mayor Aftab Pureval Arthur Bryant’s Barbeque ahead of the Chiefs 2023 AFC Championship against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Chiefs ended up winning 23-20 and advancing to the Super Bowl. You can see the exchange between Lucas and Brown on social media.

Kickoff will be at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
