Mavs do hilariously odd pregame warmup routine before Game 1 originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea

We knew the Western Conference finals matchup between the Warriors and Dallas Mavericks was going to be full of mystique and uncertainty.

But maybe that was an understatement.

The mystery began before the series even started as players from the Mavs come out of the tunnel and, in unison, did a hilariously odd pregame warmup on the court ahead of Game 1 at Chase Center.

Led by Reggie Bullock, the Mavs players walked in a line with their arms held out and swinging, and greeted their fellow teammates with a chest bump.

Apparently, this isn’t anything new to Dallas, and is actually a part of its pregame routine.

Either way, it perfectly embodied what the series is ready to unfold, with the snail-paced Mavs taking on the run-and-gun Warriors.

We really don’t know what’s truly in store for us in this series, but it’ll surely be fun to watch.
