LIZ LOZA: Does Matthew Stafford's presence on the Rams increase the ceilings for both Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp? And which of these two receivers am I prioritizing in fantasy?

Well, let's start with the quarterback piece of things first, because, obviously, it is better to have a QB that the HC is excited about instead of totally over, and a large part of that excitement is because of Matthew Stafford's pension for pushing the ball downfield. Here are some numbers for you. In 2019 and 2020, Jared Goff was around the QB20-ish in deep ball attempts. Last year, Matthew Stafford, without Kenny Golladay on the field for a large chunk of the season, was the QB12 in that category.

Now, imagine if both of these receivers-- who have averaged over eight targets per game in back-to-back years-- had that kind of volume with increased efficiency. Of course, their ceilings are higher. They are both top 20 to top 15 options for fantasy. Personally, I'm prioritizing Robert Woods, who has consistently averaged more yards per target than Kupp because he's more versatile and you can use him all over the field. Don't forget those two rushing touchdowns last season.
