Matt Barnes pulls a Kobe Bryant, shoots in an empty arena after clanging away

Counted on to relieve some of the pressure on both ends that Metta World Peace was just starting to late in the regular season, prior to MWP's suspension, Lakers wing Matt Barnes has struggled to connect in the postseason. Though the effort and sound defense is there, Barnes has missed 9 of 11 shots in two playoff games, failing to connect on any of his seven 3-point attempts, all while working through the aftereffects of a lingering ankle injury.

So, not unlike Kobe Bryant in last season's famous postgame shooting exhibition in Miami, Barnes took to the Staples Center court following Tuesday's Laker win over the Denver Nuggets to work on his jumper.
