Masai Ujiri, Justin Trudeau share embrace at Raptors parade
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was on hand for the biggest celebration in Toronto’s history, taking part in the Raptors’ championship parade Monday.
Trudeau stopped and met with Raptors president Masai Ujiri, giving him a hug as well, and had a long conversation before moving on to the rest of the celebration.

Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard and his daughter took some time to chat with Trudeau as well. It’s unclear if the PM pitched the superstar on staying in Toronto.

Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry also met with Trudeau, and the pair took a photo with the Larry O’Brien Trophy.

Ujiri wasn’t diplomatic with all politicians, however. The Raptors’ president shook Premier Doug Ford’s hand and kept walking in one boundless stride.
It appears most people at the parade share Ujiri’s sentiments.
