Celtics rule out Marcus Smart vs. Timberwolves originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston

The Boston Celtics have taken an additional hit to their lineup for Monday night's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Starting point guard Marcus Smart, who had initially been listed as questionable, will be out of the lineup due to a right hand laceration, the team announced.

There was no immediate timeframe for how long Smart would be out of the lineup for.

Smart played more than 40 minutes against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, his most in the regular season in a non-overtime game.
