How to watch Liberty vs. Oklahoma State in the First Round originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

The Liberty Flames closed out their 2020-21 regular season in remarkable fashion, winning their final nine games. They went on to sweep the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament, winning the championship game 79-75 over North Alabama.

For their efforts, the Flames were awarded a No. 13 seed in the Midwest Region for the 2021 NCAA Tournament, and their first matchup will be against fourth-seeded Oklahoma State. Not so much of a blessing, considering the OSU Cowboys have perhaps the best player in the nation in Cade Cunningham, who is projected to be the consensus no. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.

Still, the Flames boast the ninth-best turnover rate in all of Division I basketball, giving the ball away on a mere 15.2% of their possessions, according to ESPN. On the flip side of the turnover coin, Oklahoma State has had a real problem with ball security this season, turning the ball over on 21.7% of their possessions--poor enough to rank 305th nationally.

Regardless of whom you root for, Liberty vs. Oklahoma State is sure to raise some eyebrows and highlight which players have the poise to perform when the lights are shining brightest. Here's everything you need to know about the matchup:
