Despite providing top-75 value when healthy this season, Corey Robinson dives into whether or not fantasy managers should be concerned about Kyle Lowry's health as of late.
COREY ROBINSON: After a six-game stretch in which he's averaged 6.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.03 pointers, Kyle Lowry has missed Miami's last three games with a sore left knee. The good news is that he's only missed eight of the Heat's first 44 games. However, each absence has occurred between December 8 and January 14. When he's on the court, Lowry has been very good, providing top 75% per-game value in nine-cap formats, with averages of 13.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 2.23 pointers per game.
And that's with a field goal percentage of 39.8%-- nearly three percentage points lower than his career mark of 42.4%. Miami is scheduled to play four games in week 14, and despite there not being any back-to-backs to deal with, managers who have Lowry rostered should be concerned, given the time missed in recent weeks.
