Man in Alpine Meadows Takes Puppy Skiing for the First Time

California resident Kerry Lofy took his puppy out in Alpine Meadows on September 7 to go skiing for the first time.

The puppy, named Tinder, can be seen strapped onto Lofy, gliding along a freshly fallen batch of hail.

Lofy, a former professional skier, told Storyful the family had just returned from a hike and the fallen hail caught Tinder’s attention. “We had an inch of hail on our deck, and it was Tinder’s first time seeing ‘snow,’” he said. “We built a small snowman, she rolled around in it, and then I decided to ski down the road.” Credit: Kerry Lofy via Storyful
