Maidens top Marshall in Macy Chenevert Memorial Tournament
Nov. 17—TYLER — Jacksonville outlasted Marshall 39-32 Friday afternoon in the second round of the Macy Chenevert Memorial Tournament, which is taking place at Gorman Catholic School in Tyler.
Marquesia Robertson scored 19 points to lead the Maidens offensively.
Jacksonville, ranked No. 10 in Class 4A, is now 6-0.
Next up for the Maidens is a date with Lindale. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday night.
The tournament is scheduled to wrap up Saturday.
