Magic rookie Anthony Black pulled up to watch Arkansas host BYU

Orlando Magic rookie Anthony Black returned to Arkansas on Saturday and was among those on hand to watch the Razorbacks football team host BYU in Fayetteville.

Of course, Black played last season at Arkansas and was named to the SEC All-Freshman team after averaging 12.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.1 steals. He was the only player to rank inside the top 25 in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals and blocks (22).

Unfortunately, Black wasn’t treated to a win by the home team.

BYU knocked off Arkansas, 38-31, to improve to 3-0 on the season. The Cougars overcame a 10-point deficit late in the third quarter to come back and drop the Razorbacks to 2-1 this season.

Black debuted with the Magic in the NBA Summer League, averaging 11 points, 8.7 rebounds, four assists and two steals on 40.6% shooting from the field in three games. He had his best game on July 8: 17 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals.

The Magic open the preseason on Oct. 10 at New Orleans.
