Madison Central sweeps swimming titles
Oct. 23—Madison Central's domination in the pool continued on Friday.
The Jaguars swept the MHSAA Class III swimming championships, which were held at the Tupelo Aquatic Center. It's the fourth straight year Madison has swept.
Tupelo's boys and girls both finished a distant second. Brooks Johnson (200 IM and 100 fly), Willa Martin (500 free) and Autumn Swinney (100 fly) all had first-place finishes for the Golden Wave.
On Saturday, St. Andrew's swept the Class I titles, while the West Jones girls and Pearl River Central boys took Class II.
