Ramen + eggs = perfect meal
KATIE MATHER: This one is for the history books, people. Because the noodle omelet is exactly what it sounds like. And it's about to become a staple in my everyday meal rotation routine. In fact, it might be the only thing I eat for the next couple of months. Because Holy [BLEEP], eggplant [BLEEP]. Oh my God, the noodle omelet looks so good.
The noodle omelet is sort of an homage to the Indonesian dish, dadar mie instan. And all you need are instant noodles, eggs, and scallions-- that's it.
[? OK. guys, ?] how you make the noodle omelet is very straightforward. Cook the instant noodles in hot water and then drain the water, leaving the cooked noodles. You want to add the packet of seasoning that comes with the instant ramen, two raw eggs, and then the scallions. Mix it all together and then cook it in a pan until it turns into, like, a pancake-looking dish, pretty much an omelet.
Flip it over when it's ready. And then I added a little bit of hot sauce. And it's ready to serve.
Wow, for the moment of truth. Here's the final product, a little bit of hot sauce on there. This is so good. I mean, what's not to love? This is my new favorite breakfast, snack, lunch, and dinner. And it's so easy to make.
Look at how good that is. The noodle omelet, an absolute 10 out of 10-- A plus, my best student so far. Seriously, this is so good.
