Matt Gothard & Jared Quay give their best bets for Week 12 of the NFL season.

Video Transcript

MATT GOTHARD: Welcome back to "Mad Bets," everybody. It's week 12. Time for our best bets of the week. Jared Quay, you have been on fire, to say it nicely. Who do you got this week?

JARED QUAY: Man, I ain't gonna lie. I liked my pick last week. I was worried for a little bit, but then it was like, this is easy. And I'm trying to get y'all some more free money. It's Black Friday, so let's go ahead to make some money.

Best bet of the week is a road favorite. And it's the New York Giants. I know, I know, you think I'm crazy, but hear me out, all right.

The Giants' last four games, they have covered the spread, oftentimes as dogs winning outright. They're playing good football, and it's not even the reason why I'm betting them. I'm betting them because Ryan Finley is starting at quarterback.

They're not a very good offense without Joe Mixon. Now you take away Joe Burrow. You got Ryan Finley going against a good defense that doesn't allow a lot of points. Meanwhile, Daniel Jones is looking good, Slayton-- I just really think that this Giants team is underrated.

I think they could push and potentially get that NFC East playoff spot. So at minus 5, I think they win by a touchdown. So give me the Giants on the road to win by more than 5.

MATT GOTHARD: I'm not saying it's a bad bet, but it's definitely a heat check. This is definitely a heat check for you, Quay.

JARED QUAY: It's only a bad bet to the loser. I mean, it's only a bad bet until it wins, because it's gonna win.

MATT GOTHARD: All right, you're taking a road favorite. I'm flipping it and taking a home dog. I like the Broncos plus 6 against the New Orleans Saints.

This is Hill's first real test at quarterback. It's one thing to win at home in a dome against the Falcons. All of that is you should win, right? But on the road against a solid defense in Denver is a much different game there.

Catching 6 for the Broncos, who have done well against quarterbacks that are learning to start. They've got two a bench. They beat Justin Herbert.

I like the Broncos in this one. And when I look at an underdog, I think, can they win straight up? And do they have enough points to make there a real advantage? I like the Broncos in this, plus 6.

JARED QUAY: Broncos are tricky. I like them. They're home field advantage. It's a good bet. Two winners, Gothard. Me and you got two winners.
