MINTY BETS: The 2020 Masters has finally arrived. I'm with Jason Sobel of the Action Network, here to give us his best bets for this weekend. But before we get into that, I want to talk about the course.

Because this tournament is usually held in the spring, and now being held in the fall. Jason can we expect any changes to the course? I mean, other than weather conditions, turf quality. Will this affect players in a good or bad way by any chance?

JASON SOBEL: Well, Minty, based on the weather they've gotten into Augusta so far, and based on what they're expecting to get for the next five or six days, it's going to be wet, which means a softer, longer golf course than we are used to seeing in April. Where usually the course plays pretty fast and firm. But it's going to be a beast this week. But I don't think it's going to affect scoring too much. I still think there's going to be some good scores out there based on the softer conditions.

MINTY BETS: Nice. All right, now let's get into your best bets. Now I know Bryson DeChambeau is favored. Jon Rahm, Mcllroy, DJ, do you like any of these guys to win? Or do you have someone else in mind you'd like to win at all?

JASON SOBEL: I like all of those guys. I really think we're going to see the cream rise to the top with some of the best players on the leaderboard this week. You left one name out of there though, Minty, and that's Justin Thomas. My favorite outright play this week.

And I go back to the fact that Augusta National is a second shot golf course. You've got to be a great iron player, a great wedge player, in order to succeed at Augusta National. Well Justin Thomas has finished top four in strokes gained on approach shots in each of the last three PGA TOUR seasons.

In fact, he was first in that category last season on the PGA TOUR. So I think that's what gets him through this week. And he is my pick to win, my favorite outright bet this week.

MINTY BETS: Nice. All right. And any long shot names that we should maybe be aware about?

JASON SOBEL: You know, we haven't had a long shot, a true, real long shot win the Masters in quite a while. In fact, between 2008 and 2011, we had three players who were triple digit long shots coming into the tournament that week, who were able to win.

We had Trevor Immelman, Angel Cabrera, and Charl Schwartzel, three of those four years. Ever since then, no one better than-- no one higher than 50 to 1. That was Danny Willett four years ago.

And so I don't expect a big long shot. I do like Patrick Reed. I think he's priced a little bit too high this week, trending in the right direction. Same with Bubba Watson.

If you all play a guy with longer odds who might not have a chance to win, but a nice top 20 type of bet, Corey Conners, is a really good ball striker. Had some great numbers on Sunday in Houston. Those are some of the guys that I like this week.

MINTY BETS: Nice. Well, appreciate you as always, Jason, and good luck this weekend.

JASON SOBEL: Thanks. You too, Minty.
