Video Transcript

MATT GOTHARD: Welcome back to Mad Bets, everybody. We have some boxing action this Saturday, December 12th, between Anthony Joshua and Kubrat Pulev, for the world title unification fight. Joshua is minus 1250. Minus 1250 is a massive favorite in this. Is there any value on the underdog here, Kevin?

KEVIN IOLE: You know, I don't really think there is. I mean Kubrat Pulev is a very solid veteran fighter. He's beaten a lot of decent guys. But when you're talking about fighting Anthony Joshua, you're not going up one level or two levels, you're going up three or four levels. I mean, he is really stepping up. You know, Joshua showed against Andy Ruiz that he is prone to an upset, so we can't say without question that it's over. But I think Andy Ruiz is a different character than Kubrat Pulev. He had faster hands, and a little bit more power than you have out of Pulev.

I think the play on this is going to be to bet on the over-under. I think Joshua is going to win this fight by knockout. It's going to depend on how long it takes. I think we'll see Joshua get Pulev out of there between four and six rounds. So I would look at the over-under on this one for my play. I think Anthony Joshua wins, but you can't lay 1250 on that. I like the Joshua by knockout, though.

MATT GOTHARD: All right. Well, Joshua by knockout is minus 250, for anybody looking for it. Little bit more value there. Thank you, Kevin.

KEVIN IOLE: Thank you, Matt. I appreciate it.
