Earlier this month, the Boston Red Sox second baseman lost his junior baseball college coach Derwood “Pops” Penney at the age of 78, leaving the Sox to attend services, then homering in his first game back. On the field, Holt has been playing some of his best baseball, and the latest chapter to his hot streak Saturday night.
