While the league announced it found no evidence of wrongdoing after an investigation during the series, including a league official sitting at the dugout level who said he heard nothing in Game 1, officials did hear frequent, loud whistling that the Yankees complained about in a further video review of footage from Game 1, according to Martino. The Astros are in the midst of being investigated for accusations of illegal, electronic sign stealing during their run to the 2017 World Series title after The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal and Evan Drellich uncovered the massive story last week.
