Just a thought, as this team definitely could still use some front court toughness to hang with any bigger lineup in the league come playoff time. There have been a lot of trades involving Hayward or Smart or even Tatum, where we get a big man on a bigger contract, but the reality is most of these trade scenarios rob Peter to pay Paul. Despite the lack of true size, our team defense has been more than figuring it out, so trading a guy like Smart, who has been proving to be effective on guys with 5+ inches in height on him, makes no sense for the overall team defense. This trade scenario would be with Phoenix, and it really would be more of a trade deadline move, if Phoenix starts to sputter off, and when Ayton is back from suspension.
