Vikings rookie tackle Brian O'Neill had a pretty interesting path to the NFL. A tight end in high school, O'Neill transitioned to tackle prior to playing college at Pittsburgh. One problem. He needed to gain some weight. O'Neill started college at 235 pounds. After his redshirt freshman year, he weighed 250 pounds. And then within a three-month stretch, he added 35 pounds from June to August before the 2015 season. “It takes an awful lot of discipline,” Pittsburgh head strength and conditioning coach Dave Andrews said via ESPN. “We did daily and weekly weigh-ins.
