Training camp has wrapped, two preseason games are in the books and we still don't know who will be the starting left guard for the Detroit Lions in 2019. The battle has not been an inspiring one. While moving last year's rookie standout, Frank Ragnow, from left guard to center and kicking Graham Glasgow from center to right guard has looked very good at those spots, succeeding Ragnow is a problem. There are five players competing for the spot, but realistically it's a two-horse race to start. However, anything can happen in the final two preseason games and the Lions' lack of firm commitment to any of the options leaves things more wide open than it might appear.
