The Panthers opened their home schedule with a 3-2 win over the Bulldogs and bookended the home slate with a dramatic win in the district tournament finale. Western used pace and possession to take an early 1-0 lead thanks to a corner kick from Jon Shaw that found 6-foot-3 forward Caleb Griffith in the box.
