In three weeks we'll be in the thralls of the 2019 Stanley Cup playoffs. Qualifying for the postseason would mean different things to each team in the hunt for spots in the Eastern Conference playoff structure, in terms of a financial boost and making a statement to their fan bases that they're legitimately attempting to compete for a championship. Second and third place in the Metropolitan Division are in play for the New York Islanders, Pittsburgh Penguins, Carolina Hurricanes and Columbus Blue Jackets.
