The Steelers have placed wide receiver Diontae Johnson in concussion protocol following the brutal helmet hit he suffered from Browns safety Damarious Randall, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Pittsburgh will monitor Johnson until its next game against the Bengals on Nov. 24, Schefter reports. During the third quarter of Thursday night's game, Johnson was attempting to catch a pass when Randall lowered his head and hit him with an illegal helmet-to-helmet shot.
