That versatility has helped make his transition into the Broncos' offense easier. “I would say what helps me the most is I had to know two different positions [at Iowa],” Fant said on May 10. “I had to know the 'Y' and the 'F.' Understanding offenses conceptually instead of just focusing on one position helped me a lot moving into the NFL. “Now it's easy for me to pick up these things having learned that in college — having to learn conceptually.
