It's pretty remarkable how quickly the tight end situation has flipped in the AFC East in just a few months. Rob Gronkowski retired. Then the New England Patriots brought Ben Watson out of retirement. Then they traded for a player who had to go back to his old team because he failed a physical. The Bills released their No. 1 tight end in Charles Clay, then signed two in free agency, drafted two more, and added two more after the draft. The best returning tight ends to their own teams in the division may very well be two second-year players, for the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins, respectively.
