Caption Close The Texans' one-year investment in former Cleveland Browns tight end Darren Fells is worth $1.5 million. That includes a $100,000 signing bonus. Fells is due a $900,000 base salary, which isn't guaranteed. Fells can also make another $500,000, to be paid out $31,25 per game that he's on the 46-man active gameday roster. Fells, 32, played in every game for the Browns last season and caught 11 passes for 117 yards and three touchdowns. For his career, which includes stops with the Detroit Lions and Arizona Cardinals, Fells has caught 68 passes for 830 yards and 10 touchdowns.
