Not to pick on the man who just threw for 424 yards and four touchdowns in a win, but let's discuss Jimmy Garoppolo's picks. The 49ers' quarterback also threw two interceptions in his otherwise brilliant performance in Sunday's 36-26 victory over the Cardinals. Of course, winning is the ultimate deodorant, and Garoppolo's two stinkers became a footnote in a game in which he joined Joe Montana as the 49ers' only QBs to have at least 30 completions, 400 yards and four touchdowns in a game. In a broader context, that has been a season-long theme: Garoppolo has thrown at least one interception in eight of 10 games, owns the NFL's fifth-highest interception percentage (3.2) and has been fortunate a few other poor passes have been dropped by stone-handed defenders.
