TAMPA — Family ties are staying with Tampa Bay as the Lightning selected Nolan Foote as its 27th pick Friday night in the first round of the 2019 NHL Draft. Foote, a left winger from Canada, played in 66 games this season, notching 63 points on the year. Foote's father Adam was a two-time Stanley Cup Champion with the Avalanche. Foote's older brother Cal is a defenseman for the Syracuse Crunch, Tampa Bay's affiliate and was selected No. 14 in the 2017 NHL Draft.
