That's why the Saints re-signed J.T. Barrett to their practice squad, according to a report from Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Barrett first signed with the Saints last summer as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio State; he went on to be waived and re-sign with the team 25 times during the 2018 season, and was released again
